Just got back from a very short trip to Taos, NM. Stayed at the American Artists Gallery House Bed and Breakfast Inn. I highly recommend this place. The owners are awesome and the breakfast amazing. Went looking for gallery representation for my photos. I had some good responses but not much interest in Taos for photography right now. However, I did get some great encouragement from one gallery owner that said my work would do well there. But he only uses local artists. He told me to come back in once I move there. Hmmmm. Also went whitewater rafting. Perfect weekend with my wife! George the Peacock was a bit disturbing though.

I hope everyone had a great and safe Independence Day weekend. I am new to blogging so this will be at first, where to find out what's going on around okcArtists.com. okcArtists just started up a couple of months ago and is already growing and getting traffic. We are here to give you the artist an affordable way to help drive traffic to your website or page. We know that we are not the only place to list but we are aiming to be the best, most productive, most active list in the OKC area. We want to be a true art community. That's why okcArtists is also on Facebook and Townsphere. These are two great places to really interact with us. Any artist that lists on okcA is always posted on these two pages also. We really try to spread the word about our artists. We even give you free listing time for referrals of your artist friends. We are looking for a "Draw/Sketch" artist and a "Lessons" artist so those two pages are no longer empty. We are offering a SWEET deal to the first to list in those categories. You might note that there are some specials going on here while we are still in the infancy stage. If you have an event coming up that you'd like the world to know about, send me the info here. We want okcArtists.com to be the go to place to find out about art in the metro. Do you track visitors to your website? If so, let us know how many come from us. This helps us to improve our potency. If you have suggestions to make this site better, we want to know that too. Have a great day and keep making the world beautiful with your art. -Tray | AuthorTrayson Conner ArchivesNovember 2011 CategoriesAll |
